We have been getting such an overwhelming response for our event, that we wanted to open sponsorship opportunities and for online businesses who would like to help with this great cause!
We have partnered with the Town of Canton to put on a huge all day music festival to benefit the Town of Canton Fire Department on Sat. Sep. 30th. We have five musical acts slated to play (four of which are national recording artists), as well as children’s activities, food trucks, and 30 vendors. Our 35 farm animals will also be in their various pastures for folks to see and pet. When we first moved here there was a large fire behind our farm and the fire department had to set up camp on our farm in order to get access to it. We saw how hard they worked to keep it from destroying our farm and soon thereafter the Western North Carolina wildfires started, greatly taxing every department in the region. It really stuck with us and we have been wanting to find a way to give back to them since then.
Our goal is to raise $10k for the Town of Canton Fire Department in order for them to upgrade their safety equipment and also use the funds for valuable necessities. The concert is taking place in our 9000 square foot covered horse arena and will be a full professional production. The rest of the activities for the day will take place around the farm.
We are looking to have upwards of 1000 people attend this event and have already been getting inquiries from neighboring states, as well as people from Ohio, Arkansas,
The Town of Canton is providing public parking lots downtown to be shuttle pick-up and drop-off sites to and from the farm.
There will be full advertising and press coverage for this event as well a radio presence.
We are currently seeking three different level of sponsorship:
Platinum - $2000
Silver - $1000
Gold - $500
In the horse arena, the Platinum sponsors will have their banners hung prominently behind the stage and the other levels will have banners near the stage. The sponsors will also be mentioned with logos on the posters and handouts. Any of the sponsors are certainly welcome to set up a table at the event, if they would like to. We can work with each sponsor on any particular needs that they may have as a thank you for their help.
Also, as a thank you to our sponsors, GoodyAcre Farm is hosting a private pop-up dinner in our beautiful 12-stall barn with two renowned chefs on Sat. Nov. 18th. We have already confirmed Frank Bang, who was blues master and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Buddy Guy’s guitar player for many years, to perform at this private event. It will be a FREE three course meal and an amazing private concert as a thank you for your help. We would love for you to be able to attend this special event.
Tickets will be $10 a head and $30 for a group of four.
Our goal is for this to be an annual event, if not twice a year starting in 2018. We would like for each event to benefit a different entity for those in need.
